About Brightledge

We started Brightledge in 2023 after years inside finance teams, watching smart people spend the last week of every month matching spreadsheets by hand. The software meant to help was either an enterprise suite nobody could configure or a generic automation tool that didn’t understand a ledger.

So we built something narrow on purpose: reconciliation and reporting, done well, for teams that close monthly and answer to auditors. No sprawling platform, no year-long rollout — a tool a controller can adopt in an afternoon.

We’re a distributed team of finance and engineering people. We work with a small number of clients at a time so the product stays close to the real work.

How we work

Every client starts with a short pilot on one entity or one account set. If it doesn’t save real time in the first close, we don’t move forward. That bar keeps us honest and keeps the product focused.
